Riyadh, October 16^th, 2023 – Executive Director of the Women Development Organization (WDO), H.E. Dr. Afnan Alshuaiby, delivered a speech during the opening session of The Regional Meeting of the “Pink Tank” Regional Initiative for Arab Women’s Health that takes place in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabi on the 16^th and 17^th of October, 2023, and is organized by WDO, the League of Arab States (LAS), and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Family Affairs Council.

Cairo, September 13^th, 2023 – WDO’s Executive Director, H.E. Dr. Afnan Alshuaiby met Wednesday with Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Sameh Shoukry. The meeting discussed The Republic of Egypt’s keenness to support the efforts of the Organization in empowering women and elevating their status.

Tashkent - Wednesday, July 5^th, 2023– WDO’s Executive Director, H.E. Dr. Afnan Alshuaiby, participated as a keynote speaker in “Uzbekistan’s Experience in Supporting Women” International Forum that was organized by the country’s Cabinet of Ministers. The Forum took place on the 5^th and 6^th of July in Tashkent, The Republic of Uzbekistan.

Tashkent – Thursday, July 6^th, 2023 – WDO’s Executive Director, H.E. Dr. Afnan Alshuaiby met with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, H.E. Zulayho Makkamova on the sidelines of the “New Uzbekistan: A Bridge Connecting the Regions” event, that took place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on July 6th, 2023.

Tashkent - Thursday, July 6^th, 2023– WDO’s Executive Director, H.E. Dr. Afnan Alshuaiby gave a statement in a roundtable discussion during the “New Uzbekistan: A Bridge Connecting the Regions” event, that took place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on July 6^th, 2023. The roundtable discussion was on expanding the role of women and girls in socio-political life and economic opportunities.

WDO’s Executive Director, H.E. Dr. Afnan Alshuaiby, gave a statement during the Second Ordinary Session of the Ministerial Council of the Women Development Organization that took place in Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt, on the 7^th and 8^th of June.
