Dr. Afnan AlShuaiby, Executive Director of #WDO, met with H.E Vice Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Waleed Elkhereji, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Afnan AlShuaiby, Executive Director of WDO met with H.E Dr. Mohamedou Labrang, Ambassador of Cameroon to Egypt. In which, they expressed a great will to work together for the development of women in the African region.

Dr. Afnan AlShuaiby met with H.E Mai Al-Baghli, Minister of Social Affairs and Community development, Minister of State for Women and Children Affairs of the State of Kuwait.
Dr. Afnan AlShuaiby, Executive Director of the Women Development Organization, met with His Excellency the Minister Plenipotentiary / Talal Al-Mutairi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Human Rights in the State of Kuwait.
Dr. Afnan AlShuaiby, the Executive Director of WDO, and Dr. Badr Othman Malallah, Director General of the Arab Planning Institute signed a Memorandum of Understanding that aims to increase the cooperation between the two institutions.
Dr. Afnan Alshuaiby of Saudi Arabia was appointed today by the Ministerial Council of the Women Development Organization. After her appointment, Dr. Alshuaiby thanked the Ministerial Council for choosing her for the post. She started her statement by thanking her own country the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with special thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Crown Prince, for their tremendous support and opportunities specifically for women. She thanked also the Saudi Council for Family Affairs led by the Secretary General, Dr Hala Altuwaijri, and her team, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation who worked tirelessly to achieve this milestone.
During the Women Development Organization’s inaugural field visit in the Republic of Niger, the Representative of the WDO paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Women and Children Protection to discuss bilateral ties with the Republic of Niger and possibilities of a fruitful collaboration, in view of advancing women’s issues in the country.
A delegation headed by H.E. Ambassador Isiaka Abdulqadir Imam, Secretary General of the Developing Eight Organization for Economic Cooperation (D-8), visited the Women Development Organization’s Headquarters in Cairo/ Egypt.
